About the Doctor: Aimee Vo Independent Doctor of Optometry at Site for Sore Eyes
Aimee Vo, an Independent Doctor of Optometry. Vo is from San Jose, California. She completed her undergraduate studies at UCLA and then spent time living in the rolling vineyards of Bordeaux, the French wine country. Upon returning to the Bay Area, Vo attended the UC Berkeley School of Optometry for her doctorate degree, where she graduated with honors.
Vo has previously worked at the VA hospitals in both Los Angeles, CA and in Honolulu, Hawaii. Her clinical experience also includes community health clinics throughout Marin and Alameda County. As a glasses wearer since the age of 7, she feels a strong satisfaction in helping her patients attain and preserve their most important sense – clear, comfortable vision.
Vo is a foodie and loves exploring the great eats of the Bay Area. She enjoys long walks with friends, spending time with family, volunteering at church, and teaching her senior dog new tricks.
