Meet Our Doctor: Dr. Sharon Villa
Meet Our Doctor: Dr. Sharon Villa
Dr. Villa is a caring and wholehearted bay area resident. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Molecular and cell Biology from San Francisco State University, and continued to pursue her longtime goal of earning her Doctorate of Optometry from Western University of Health Sciences College of Optometry in Southern CA.
Dr. Villa completed her extensive clinical training rotations through Community Health Center of Central West Coast, Castle Eye Center at Castle Family Health Center and Vision Health Institute in Florida. Her clinical training emphasized in specialty contact lenses, ocular disease treatment and management including glaucoma, diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration.
Dr.Villa is a fluent native Spanish speaker and enjoys providing the most optimal care at a more personal level for patients of all ages.
In her spare time Dr. Villa enjoys hiking, traveling and spending time with her family and friends.
Dr. Villa es una residente del área de la bahía cariñosa y sincera. Recibió su título de Bachiller en Ciencias en Biología Molecular y Celular de la Universidad Estatal de San Francisco, y continuó persiguiendo su objetivo en obtener su Doctorado en Optometría de la Facultad de Optometría en la Universidad Western University of Health Sciences en el sur de California.
La Dra. Villa completó sus amplias rotaciones de capacitación en clínica a través del Centro de Salud Comunitario de la Costa Oeste Central, el Centro de Ojos Castle en el Centro de Salud de Castle Family y el Instituto de Salud de la Visión en Florida. Su entrenamiento clínico incluye lentes de contacto especiales, tratamiento y manejo de enfermedades oculares incluyendo glaucoma, retinopatía diabética y degeneración macular.
La Dr. Villa habla español e Ingles con fluidez y disfruta compartir una relación profesional más óptima a un nivel personal para pacientes de todas las edades.
En su tiempo libre, la Dra. Villa le gusta excursionismos en las montañas, viajar y pasar tiempo con su familia y amigas/os.
